Benefit Concert, Stocking Drive, and Spring!

Wow – it’s BUSY around here! It must be December…

Some important things are going on at PAA, and they involve you and your dancer!

1. December 10th @ 2pm – Studio companies, guitar students and any other students who are interested in bringing holiday cheer are invited to the Wynwood House in Centre Hall for a special holiday performance to entertain the elderly residents who live there. For more information, contact Miss Sarah.

2. December 17th @ 6:30 pm – Dance students and faculty will be presenting an informal studio showcase to benefit The Hope Fund. Admission is a non-perishable food item, which will go to families in Penns Valley who are struggling this holiday season. In conjunction with this concert, we have a Giving Tree in our waiting room with gift tags for three needy children. Please bring your unwrapped gifts to the studio by the night of the concert. Last but not least, our students are sponsoring a Stocking Drive for 17 children who are in need this Christmas. Please drop any stocking stuffers (as well as basic hygiene items) in the collection box in our waiting room, especially small toys for boys between the ages of 5 and 12.

3. Spring 2012 schedule is coming, now that we have our recital dates figured out. Thanks for your patience as we worked with Penns Valley School District to resolve a scheduling conflict in May. Although it is not our first choice, we will have the annual recital on Saturday, March 31st with dress rehearsal on Saturday, March 24th. Watch the website for registration information this week.
